Kia will participate in the ‘3 Seoul Mobility Show’, which will be held for a total of 31 days at KINTEX from March 4 to April 9, and display a large number of actual vehicles, including ‘EV10’.
Kia chose ‘Kia’s another movement towards sustainable mobility solutions provider’ as the exhibition theme for this mobility show.
As part of this, Kia plans to exhibit a total of 2,400 electric vehicles, including the EV6 and Dior New Niro EV, at a booth measuring 12 m9. What is raising the most expectations is Kia’s first large electric SUV, EV9. This will be displayed for the first time in the world in an independent exhibition space called ‘EVXNUMX Island’, and the strategy is to increase interest in the new vehicle.
Previously, Kia unveiled the design of EV15 on the 9th. EV9 has a digital tiger face complete with a front digital pattern lighting grille and various lights. With such an innovative and future-oriented design, it began to receive public attention immediately after it was unveiled.
The EV9’s interior is designed to take full advantage of the E-GMP platform, providing an excellent sense of space with a flat floor and long wheelbase. In addition, for the first time in Kia, a column-type electronic shift lever with an integrated start button was adopted.
Kia plans to use the Seoul Mobility Show as a stage to announce its electrification direction and EV9. In relation to this, a Kia official explained, “An announcement is scheduled regarding the EV9 design, product UX, and marketing plan.”
In addition, Kia will set up an experience space where you can enjoy EV9 and EV6 GT driving games and a family communication zone created in collaboration with Kakao Friends within the exhibition hall.
Meanwhile, the 2023 Seoul Mobility Show will be held on the theme of ‘Sustainable Connected Mobility (Sustainable and Intelligent Mobility Revolution)’ at KINTEX Exhibition Hall 1 in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do, starting with Press Day on March 3 (Thursday) and ending on April 30 ( days) to be held. The total exhibition size is 4㎡, more than twice as large as the previous event (9㎡), and more than 53,541 companies and institutions from 26,310 countries around the world will participate to showcase various mobility contents.
