Schunk Carbon Technology Co., Ltd. (CEO Choi Dong-gyun) announced that it will participate in the ‘3 Seoul Mobility Show’, which will be held at KINTEX for a total of 31 days from March 4 to April 9.

Schunk Carbon Technology is one of the leading suppliers in the field of mobility power transfer. The company said, “With our innovative Schunk smart charging system, e-mobility can be implemented economically. “Vehicles can be safely and reliably charged within minutes while in the garage or in operation,” he said. “Our products are helping make modern e-mobility safer, more efficient and more environmentally friendly.”

For example, Schunk’s specially developed shaft grounding system reliably dissipates undesirable residual shaft voltages in a targeted manner to prevent bearing damage and EMC-related failures.

Schunk’s smart charging system is known as a product optimized for high capacity and fast charging based on 110 years of technology. It is compact, durable, and automated, enabling a safer and more convenient charging system.

The smart charging system has been developed with a capacity of up to 1MW and can fully charge a 250kW battery in less than 15 minutes. A Schunk official emphasized, “The automated charging method, rather than human charging, enables safer and more efficient charging operations, and furthermore, it is optimized for unmanned mobility.”
