Sanam Tech Co., Ltd. (CEO Jeong-seon Oh) will participate in ‘KOBA 5 (16st International Broadcasting, Media, Sound and Lighting Exhibition)’ held at COEX in Seoul from Tuesday, May 19 to Friday, May 2023. , introducing ‘Nimbra’, an integrated media transmission solution from ‘Net insight’.

NetInsight’s Nimbra, imported by Sanamtech and responsible for distribution in the domestic market, aims to convert the existing P to P broadcast signal transmission method to an integrated media network method through MSR series equipment. The company explains that it guarantees 100% QQS based on TDM, which is virtually infinitely expandable, and achieves stable media transmission.

NetInsight, which is known to have secured a market share of close to 90% in the global media transmission market, utilizes the TDM-based DTM protocol and performs all functions such as media access, switching, and routing on its own.

In particular, it is considered a solution that guarantees end-to-end transmission quality and transmits the most stable signal even within the complex network structure of SMPTE 2110, which requires the highest level of transmission quality among IP-based transmission standards.

A Sanamtech official said, “As this is a solution used in world-class live broadcasts such as the World Cup and Olympics, we are confident that we have fully verified its ability to provide a perfect high-capacity, high-quality media transmission service in any network configuration.” He added, “We are proud of its excellence in Korea.” “We want to contribute to improving the competitiveness of the broadcasting industry by actively promoting it in the market and increasing the penetration rate in the industry.”

Meanwhile, the KOBA exhibition, co-hosted by Korea E&X and the Korea Broadcasting Engineers Association, was held for the first time in 1991 to improve domestic broadcasting culture and develop the media, sound, and lighting industries, and is celebrating its 31st anniversary this year. KOBA 2023, held at COEX Halls A, C, and D, presents next-generation broadcasting services and the future of the media, sound, and lighting industries. In particular, during the exhibition period, it provides an opportunity to acquire professional information related to broadcasting and sound through the International Broadcasting Technology Conference hosted by the Korea Broadcasting Engineers Association and the sound-related professional technology seminar hosted by the Korea Sound Artists Association and the Acoustical Society of Korea.
