    [Pangyo Event] Kakao, recruiting participants for the 2021 Kakao Class Advanced Course

    Kakao (CEO Min-soo Yeo, Su-yong Jo) and Kakao Commerce (CEO Eun-taek Hong) will join hands with six creative economy innovation centers across the country to hold the ‘2021 Kakao Class-Talk Store LAN Coaching Class’.

    Kakao Class is a shared growth education program where prospective and early-stage local entrepreneurs and small business owners can learn how to use Kakao’s various service platforms. It has been operated jointly by Kakao and the Jeju Creative Economy Innovation Center (Director Jeon Jeong-hwan) since 2016.

    Kakao Commerce has been participating in the ‘Talk Store Seller Training Course’ for three years and is providing a customized curriculum for local entrepreneurs who are having difficulty expanding sales channels due to COVID-19.

    In order to expand Kakao Class nationwide this year, Kakao is conducting Kakao Classes with the Creative Economy Innovation Center in six regions across the country, including Jeju, Gyeongnam, Daegu, Incheon, Jeonnam, and North Chungcheong, and the previously held ‘Kakao Class-Talk Store Seller Training Course’. ‘, about 850 people completed the basic course at six centers across the country.

    The Kakao class in-depth course under the theme of ‘Talk Store LAN Coach’ provides education on tips and sales know-how through individual store coaching, including Talk Store’s success stories and expert LAN coaching for participating stores. Considering the COVID-19 situation, lectures will be held in a non-face-to-face online manner, and participants can participate in the training on the date designated for each center.

    In particular, those who take the advanced course will be provided with the opportunity to participate in Talk Store special exhibitions, KakaoTalk Bizboard advertising and promotional content production, and Kakao Moment advertising expenses, and additional rewards will be provided for each participating regional center.

    Any local entrepreneur or small business owner who runs a talk store can apply for the Kakao Class advanced course, and applicants who complete the basic course will be given additional points upon selection. A total of 600 people will be selected for the advanced course (100 from each regional center), and applications will be accepted until July 4th. Applications will be accepted through Jeju With Kakao and each regional Creative Economy Innovation Center website, and final selections will be provided with instructions on how to participate later.
