GhostPass is a decentralized remote biometric authentication solution company that resolves concerns about personal information protection by storing large amounts of biometric information individually on the user’s smart device rather than storing it in the cloud (central server). This solution transmits and authenticates biometric data detected through an authentication request to the user’s smart device (smartphone), allowing users to fully own the sovereignty of their biometric information, and saves about 70-90% of the data compared to existing server methods. In particular, regarding their technology, they emphasized that GhostPass has important value in that it can utilize a variety of biometric data rather than being limited to specific biometric data.
