‘Flex (CEO Soon-il Yoon)’, a mental care venture company based on emotional data, announced on the 20th that it will provide face-to-face psychological counseling at Yonsei University Rehabilitation School.
This face-to-face psychological counseling pilot project is aimed at revitalizing face-to-face and non-face-to-face one-stop psychological counseling within the school and will be conducted for students, parents, and teachers at Yonsei University Rehabilitation School.
Through ‘Kids Diary’, a non-face-to-face AI psychological analysis service operated by Flex, we plan to identify the psychological state of students and parents and help teachers guide students. Based on the results derived from the video diaries written by the students, a professional psychological analyst, ‘Maeum Teacher’, will visit Yonsei University Rehabilitation School in person to provide psychological counseling.
We are planning to expand educational institutions linked to the pilot project in the future, and this is expected to ensure that students, parents, and teachers can smoothly receive psychological help when needed. In addition, we plan to consider expanding from the non-face-to-face AI psychological analysis service we are operating to a face-to-face psychological counseling service.
Yeri Seo, a psychological analysis researcher at Flax, said, “Through this project, Kids Diary, a mind-reading service for infants and toddlers, will advance further,” adding, “This is an opportunity to grow into a one-stop service that can read the minds of parents and teachers who raise and care for children. “It will happen,” he said.
Meanwhile, Flax operates Kids Diary as a childcare company for the Gyeonggi Creative Economy Innovation Center’s ‘K-Champ Challenge (KB Unicorn Club)’. The service uses AI to analyze the child’s video diary and provides personalized one-on-one messages from a professional psychological researcher, as well as character education and communication guides.
