WhaTap Labs (CEO Lee Dong-in) and Kakao Enterprise (CEO Baek Sang-yeop) announced on the 10th that they have signed a partnership to expand the public and private cloud markets at home and abroad.

The two companies signed this business agreement (MOU) based on a consensus to promote various IT service businesses using cloud platforms. The main content is mutual cooperation to link Kakao Enterprise’s Kakao i Cloud platform and WhaTap monitoring service.

Kakao i Cloud is Kakao Enterprise’s cloud platform based on Kakao’s 10 years of data management know-how. It helps maximize the synergy of cloud adoption by connecting a company’s various cloud environments and supporting management of multi- and hybrid clouds on one platform.

The two companies plan to work together to support cloud technology and performance monitoring products and services while carrying out cloud business together in the future. With this agreement, we expect to expand our cloud business for public and private audiences through the development of service integration that combines Kakao Enterprise’s cloud ecosystem platform and WhaTap Labs’ SaaS monitoring technology.

Lee Kyung-jin, head of Kakao Enterprise’s cloud development department, said, “The combination of Kakao Enterprise’s cloud platform know-how and WhaTap Labs’ monitoring technology is expected to be an opportunity to further enhance industry leadership in the public and private cloud markets.” He added, “Kakao Enterprise will leverage the technology of Kakao i Cloud. “Based on this, we plan to support more companies to achieve successful digital transformation.”

Lee Dong-in, CEO of WhaTap Labs, said, “This business agreement was signed to maximize the cloud platform technology possessed by both companies,” and added, “We look forward to expanding the cloud business for public and private sectors through collaboration between the two companies.”
