At this event, it was announced that LG Electronics will combine Kakao Mobility’s platform operation know-how and advanced data analysis capabilities with LG Electronics’ accumulated technology and experience to discover differentiated customer experience-based technologies and services that will lead the future mobility market. did.
The two companies began their collaboration on future mobility starting with the exhibition of LG OMNIPOD at Kakao Mobility’s first tech conference ‘NEMO 2022’ held early this year.

In particular, as a first step toward upgrading robot services, we aim to conduct PoC (verification of commercialization) for indoor and outdoor robot delivery services within the year. To this end, the plan is to combine Kakao Mobility’s control platform and LG Electronics’ robot platform to establish a variety of linked services for the movement of objects within buildings, and to further link them with various services in different areas in the future.
In addition, LG Electronics’ automotive HMI (Human Machine Interface) solution will be applied to vehicles linked to the Kakao Mobility platform, and collaboration will be carried out to discover new services through data analysis technology and verify new services based on users.
