Neowiz Co., Ltd. announced that the ‘Banggusuk Indie Game Show 2022 (BIGS: Banggusuk Indie Game Show 2022, hereinafter referred to as BIGS 2022)’, in which domestic indie game developers will participate, will open on the 11th.
‘BEEX 2022’, which runs until the 17th, is an online indie game festival designed to support the promotion of indie game companies. At BEX 2022, you can directly experience indie games of various and original genres through the online event page, while also checking out the latest game videos. It is jointly hosted by Neowiz, Seoul Business Agency, and Gyeonggi Content Agency, and Seoul Metropolitan Government, Gyeonggi Province, Google Play Indie Festival, Twitch, Megazone Cloud, Inven, Ruliweb, and IronSource participate as sponsors.
A total of 185 domestic game developers and 30 overseas indie games will participate in BEX 2022. In particular, the ‘BIGS AWARD’ will be held to select excellent games among participating works. The total prize money is approximately 16 million won, combining the judges’ evaluations and audience votes. ▲ TOP 3 in the released category (G-Rank Challenge Seoul Awards) ▲ TOP 2 in the unreleased category ▲ Metaverse Special Award ▲ Judges’ Award ▲ Encouragement Award ▲ Popularity Award in a total of 6 categories. 12 games are selected.
An event will also be held where prizes will be given away when visitors vote online. During the BEX 2022 event, if you access the website, vote for the game that suits your taste, and upload a verification photo to the event application page, an ice cream gifticon will be given as a prize to the first 200 people on a first-come, first-served basis. Also, during the same period, if you ‘like’ and retweet the event post on BIX’s official Twitter channel, you will be entered into a drawing to receive various prizes such as a Bluetooth portable keyboard and coffee coupons.
Meanwhile, at 1 PM on the 11th, a live broadcast will be held introducing game information and videos of all entries participating in BEX 2022. More details about BIX 2022 can be found on the official website.
