Healthcare startup Gaji Lab (CEO Kim Young-in) introduced a personalized wellness platform at the ‘Naver D2SF Media Meet-up’ held at the Naver D2SF office located in Seocho-gu, Seoul on the 17th.

Gaji Lab is a company established with the slogan, ‘So that everyone can have a healthy day,’ and is developing a consumer-centered wellness curation platform by jumping into the B2C healthcare market that has developed into B2B.

Citing the fact that the healthcare market is currently built around companies such as insurance companies and pharmaceutical companies, it is an environment in which consumers inevitably experience a lack of health literacy (the ability to understand health information) and choose manufactured drugs rather than finding the right medicine for them. Gaji Lab explains that it is developing a platform to improve the consumption structure.

Gaji Lab plans to provide consumers with optimal solutions and communities across wellness, including nutrition, exercise, sleep, and rest, after identifying individual problems through surveys. We are currently designing a survey system that can accurately identify an individual’s health status and needs, and the official product will be launched in 2023.

Additionally, the ‘Startup Nurse’s Office Project’ was formed. By creating a wellness community exclusively for startups without an in-house medical institution, we provide ▲non-face-to-face doctor consultation to create an environment ▲customized questionnaire self-diagnosis for individuals ▲customized product and location recommendations to provide knowledge. You can participate in this project through a program mainly used by startup developers, rather than developing a separate app or website.

Kim Young-in, CEO of Gaji Lab, said, “For healthy healthcare consumption, we have presented an indicator that three things ‘me’, ‘environment’, and ‘knowledge’ must be met, and the closer the three contact points are, the healthier we are.” “Care focuses on specific diseases rather than individuals to come up with solutions, but our solution focuses on the individual and approaches the patient’s surroundings and conditions according to their condition,” he explained.

He continued, “The healthcare field can be widely used in the field of data, so we are looking forward to the possibility of collaboration with Naver. “If a lot of data is collected, it will be possible to not only check health status but also make predictions, which will create great synergy,” he said.

Meanwhile, Naver D2SF held the ‘Naver D2SF Media Meetup’ for the second time this year, where technology startups invested by D2SF directly presented their technological capabilities and showed demos. At the media meetup on this day, Gaudio Lab and GEMotion, immersive technology startups that recently invested following Gaji Lab and Predictive, introduced their future business growth plans and synergy results with Naver.
