    Gyeonggi Creative Economy Innovation Center (hereinafter referred to as ‘Gyeonggi Innovation Center’) successfully held the ‘2022 8th Startup 815 SEED’ on the 18th.

    Startup 815 SEED is an IR program where the Gyeonggi Innovation Center collaborates with angel investors, accelerators, and venture capitals to discover very early-stage startups and support them in securing investment networks and attracting investments. It is held on the third Thursday of every month at the Pangyo Startup Zone.

    A total of three prospective startup companies participated in this IR. ▲ Hwan-hee Lee (insulation products for high-speed transmission using super plastic engineering technology) ▲ Hwan-seong Jang (Early Pay, selection service for self-employed people) ▲ Ji-hyeon Kim (Korea Deep Learning, ultra-fast deep learning-based logistics waybill recognition system) and business plan were introduced.

    As investment reviewers, reviewers interested in discovering and investing in early-stage startups, including Blue Ocean Investors Association, North Mountain Angel Club, Mashup Angels, Blue Point Partners, and S Cubic Angels, participated.

    Meanwhile, the Startup Zone is Korea’s largest startup support cluster, established in 2017 by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups to intensively foster promising startups in new industries, and operated by the Startup Promotion Agency and the Gyeonggi Creative Economy Innovation Center.
