Wemade Connect Co., Ltd. announced that it is achieving notable results in the Japanese market with its mobile game ‘Abyssrium’.

‘Abyssrium’, which has entered its 7th year in Japan, has seen a sharp increase in popularity in the free category of the Japanese App Store from the 4th to recently, and recorded a reverse run, reaching 3rd place in popularity on the 7th.

It is known that ‘Abyssrium’, which ranked highest among Wemade Connect’s games in Japan, is recording a gradual increase in sales following a rapid increase in DAU. This popularity is interpreted as the result of consistent customer management, including updates such as the recent partnership event with the famous intellectual property (IP) ‘Miffy’ and external IP collaborations conducted more than three times a year, and service policies tailored to user demand.

Actual users said, “It’s a healing game, but it’s more enjoyable because you can always encounter new content (ID Takeda Shingen)” and “My whole family has been playing it for several years, but it feels like we’re playing a new game every time it’s updated (ID Maeda Keiji).” They are very satisfied with the game’s updates and operation.

Meanwhile, Abyssrium’s comeback in the Japanese market, achieved in the mobile game market with a short product cycle, also attracts attention in that it proves Wemade Connect’s global publishing capabilities. The company evaluated this turnaround as being most meaningful in that the know-how accumulated through the company’s policy of continuously researching and investigating customers and markets through long-term game services was proven in the Japanese market.

Ho-dae Lee, CEO of Wemade Connect, said, “Following this case that proved the company’s service know-how, the game fandom and potential of ‘Abyssrium,’ which recorded 60 million downloads globally, we are expanding services and partners, including incorporating P&E and NFT partnership with ‘Anipang Club.’ “We plan to prepare,” he said.

Meanwhile, Wemade Connect, which shared the success of ‘Abyssrium’, which pioneered the mobile healing game genre after its launch in 2016, plans to participate in the game exhibition G-Star next month to expand global partners with Wemade Play.
