    Kakao’s Impact Commerce Kakao Makers joins hands with the Fruit of Love Community Chest of Korea to produce limited edition badges for ‘Kakao Friends We plan to hold a badge design vote among users from November 11th to 17th and select the final badge design.

    The production of donation badges, which has been ongoing since last year, is a win-win campaign that returns all profits excluding production and distribution costs, and provides rice to low-income grandparents living in difficult environments. In connection with Kakao Makers’ ‘Jega Birch’ project, we will purchase 20kg of Odae rice from Cheorwon, Gangwon-do to provide coexistence and support to farmers.

    Last year, Kakao Makers selected the badge design through user voting and released a limited edition donation badge called ‘Have a fruit with Chun-sik’. Approximately 86,000 people participated in the vote over the course of a week, and approximately 5,000 badges were sold out within 6 hours on the day of badge order release. All proceeds were used to provide heating supplies to neighbors living in single-family homes during the cold winter.

    This year, a total of 6 designs featuring Kakao Friends’ Ryan, Apeach, Chunsik, Cone, Tube, and Niniz Jordi characters as well as symbols symbolizing the fruit of love are presented as candidates. After voting from users, the design that received the most votes will be commercialized as a final limited edition badge and sold at Kakao Makers in early December.

    Participation in voting is possible on the Kakao Makers page, and each user can participate once a day.

    Kakao Makers Director Jeong Young-joo said, “Continuing from last year, we would like to provide a special and unique donation experience through collaboration between Kakao Friends and the Fruit of Love, which are loved by many people.” He added, “The hearts of all users who participated in the vote will come together to create a bigger donation.” “You will be able to engrave the meaning of sharing,” he said.
