■ N.Light supplies metaverse education based on self-developed N.CAD to Our Neighborhood Kiun Center in Seoul
■ ‘Successful’ progress of metaverse education program tailored to elementary school students’ level
■ Expected to lead the next-generation metaverse industry with metaverse education content using N.D.A.D.
‘N.Light (CEO Park Jin-young)’ announced on the 13th that it signed a contract with Seoul City’s ‘Our Neighborhood Kium Center’, a childcare education institution, to supply metaverse education using its SW ‘N.D.CAD’.
N.Light is a company located in the Pangyo Startup Zone, established by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and operated by the Startup Promotion Agency and the Gyeonggi Creative Economy Innovation Center. Develops and operates domestic 3D design software ‘N.D.CAD’.
N.D.CAD is software (SW) produced with domestically produced engine technology and supports line- and surface-based high-dimensional modeling with a light capacity of 100mb. Easy and fast modeling is possible through over 150 templates provided. Based on these advantages, it can be easily approached by elementary school students who are not familiar with existing 3D design software.
This contract is a long-term education supply contract that presents various metaverse education monthly using N.D.CAD. It shows the various functions of ‘N.D.CAD’ suitable for metaverse education and is composed of an educational curriculum tailored to the eye level of elementary school students using the currently attracting metaverse concept.
Elementary school students who participated in the actual training successfully completed the Metaverse training for producing the ‘Roblox End.Rider racing game’ by performing 3D modeling using the simple UX/UI provided by End.CAD.
Seonghwan Yoon, team leader at N.Light, said, “‘N.CAD’ provides more intuitive education than existing coding-oriented education,” and added, “It can have a great effect in improving thinking skills about 3D design and spatial sense.”
Kim Ha-neul, assistant manager of Our Neighborhood Kium Center in Seoul, also said, “Children and parents are highly satisfied because they can participate in 3D modeling education without difficulty through N.D.CAD.”
Thanks to the success of Metaverse education using ‘N.D.CAD’, N.D.LIGHT plans to diversify its educational contents and continue its contract with Seoul City’s Our Neighborhood Kium Center with a curriculum that combines N.D.CAD and Roblox.
