Gyeonggi-do’s public delivery app, Delivery Express, is now expanding its scope beyond food delivery to delivery of convenience store items for consumer convenience.
Delivery Express announced that it will begin delivering convenience store items starting on the 27th in cooperation with GS25 and CU. Approximately 2,000 CU and ˙GS25 affiliated stores will begin delivery through express delivery, and from the 27th, the service launch date, they plan to be exposed to delivery express in order of application.
This collaboration with the convenience store operator means that Delivery Express will not only improve service by expanding delivery items beyond simple food delivery, but also seek to coexist with convenience store owners, another small business, and consumers.
Delivery Express, which began service in December of last year, is a public delivery app currently in service in 22 Gyeonggi-do local governments. It kills two birds with one stone: benefits for small business owners through significantly lower brokerage fees and broader consumer benefits through combining local currencies. is being evaluated.
Starting this year, Delivery Express has been actively collaborating with franchise brands to expand consumer choice, and it is expected that the collaboration with convenience store operators will be able to provide a wider range of services.
Meanwhile, in commemoration of this collaboration, Delivery Express will be holding a launching promotion that will provide a 3,000 won discount coupon to members who purchase GS25 items worth 10,000 won or more through Delivery Express from July 27th to August 31st.
CU will also give a 3,000 won discount coupon to members who make purchases of 10,000 won or more during the month from August 1st to 31st.
