Gyeonggi Province held an ‘Online Meet Up’ through video conference on the 27th to promote the value and corporate status of Pangyo Techno Valley to the world.
‘Online Meetup’ is one of Pangyo Techno Valley’s promotional projects and is a monthly event where opinions are exchanged online with start-up clusters around the world on major issues of Pangyo Techno Valley companies.
On this day, Gyeonggi Province talked about the status of ‘Jungkwanchun’ with ‘YESKY’, China’s first online tech media channel. Zhongguancun is called ‘China’s Silicon Valley’. It is a core region of the science education revival strategy implemented by the Chinese government, and is home to over 20,000 active companies, including major Chinese IT companies such as Baidu, Sohu, and Founder, as well as world-leading companies such as IBM, Microsoft, HP, and Nestlé. It is also a place.
Pangyo Techno Valley host Alex and China Tech Media Editor-in-Chief Chen DongFang discussed the performance of Pangyo Techno Valley and Zhongguancun, as well as the business and investment status and performance of major companies.
Following the status sharing with France in July, the province plans to share start-up information with China’s ‘Zhongguancun’ and finally with America’s ‘Silicon Valley’. The next online meetup will be held on August 24th. The online meetup video can be found on the Pangyo Techno Valley YouTube channel.
An official from Gyeonggi Province said, “I hope that the ‘Online Meetup’ will be an opportunity to promote and exchange the value and excellent companies of Pangyo Techno Valley to the world.” He added, “Gyeonggi Province is carrying out various activities to promote Pangyo companies overseas. “I hope that Pangyo Techno Valley’s YouTube and website will become a promotional channel,” he said.
