Orange Planet, a next-generation startup growth platform, announced that it will conduct ‘Orange Farm placement recruitment’ until October 5th next month, which provides investment and growth support for early-stage startups.
Recruitment targets are early-stage start-up teams (within 3 years of establishment) preparing to start a business in all fields based on information and communication technology (ICT) and bio. Applications will be accepted through the Orange Planet website until October 5th. Orange Planet plans to finally select a total of about 5 initial start-up teams through the first document screening, second interview, and PT screening.
Selected early start-up teams can enjoy benefits such as ▲direct investment ▲provision of business infrastructure such as occupancy at Orange Planet Gangnam Center ▲VC/AC (Venture capital/Accelerator) and 1:1 mentoring from senior entrepreneurs. Teams wishing to advance into the global market are additionally provided with the opportunity of ▲ local expansion seminars by region ▲ matching with global companies ▲ 1:1 matching with local partners.
In particular, this batch recruitment, unlike the existing Orange Farm regular recruitment, will involve direct investment with Smilegate Investment, Mashup Angels, Seoul National University Technology Holdings, and KAIST Youth Startup Investment Holdings participating as partners. The selected team can receive an investment of more than 50 million won depending on its corporate value. In addition, we provide opportunities to enhance business models by periodically providing growth direction guidance through dedicated VC/AC and 1:1 mentoring with alumni companies.
Since 2014, the Orange Farm Program has been providing startup immersion environment and mentoring to early-stage startups through regular selection every month to help them refine their business models, find Product Market Fit (PMF), and grow to a level where they can sustain themselves after the program. Orange Planet plans to conduct additional batch recruitment twice a year in addition to the existing regular recruitment in the future in order to expand the range of startup support benefits so that more young entrepreneurs can receive support.
Detailed information about this ‘Orange Farm Placement Recruitment’ can be found on the Orange Planet website, and startups wishing to apply can apply online by 24:00 on Tuesday, October 5.
