Nexon announced on the 9th that it has officially launched the subculture game ‘Blue Archive’ developed by its subsidiary Netgames in the domestic and global markets.
‘Blue Archive’ is a subculture game with the stories of various students set in Academy City. More than 1 million people flocked to pre-registration (Google Play, Apple App Store, One Store), which began on the 14th, raising the expectations of fans of the subculture genre.
The game was released in Android OS and IOS versions in 237 countries, including Korea, North America, Taiwan, and Thailand. Languages available include Korean, English, Traditional Chinese, and Thai.
Kim Yong-ha, Netgames PD, said, “We have officially launched ‘Blue Archive’ thanks to the support we have received from users. We will continue to provide services by listening to the voices of users to provide more enjoyable fun.”
To commemorate the official launch of ‘Blue Archive’, Nexon will hold the ‘First Appointment Welcome Attendance Event’ until November 30th. If you attend on the 7th, you will receive the in-game goods ‘500 Blue Pyxites’, a ‘Valentine Tea Table’ to decorate the ‘Chalet Cafe’, and a ‘Sparkling Bouquet’.
On this day, Nexon released a streaming video in which DJ TAK mixed the ‘Blue Archive’ background music (BGM). The video is about an hour long and combines various sound sources from the ‘Blue Archive’.
