[Pangyo Tech] Gyeonggi-do holds ‘Go Global Day’ on the 18th to share startup know-how

Gyeonggi Province Economic and Science Promotion Agency (GBSA) and global patent (IP) company Ginova Asia announced that they will hold ‘Go-Global Day’ at the Pangyo Startup Campus on the 18th.

Go-Global Day was established with the goals of ‘strengthening the global capabilities of startups’ and ‘establishing a win-win cooperation model between startups, mid-sized companies, and large corporations.’

This event will be held in an online, non-face-to-face manner broadcasted in real time on the Zoom platform to prevent the novel coronavirus infection (Corona 19). Any startup interested in strengthening global capabilities and win-win cooperation between companies can participate.

Go-Global Day begins with an opening ceremony and is held in the following order: △ keynote lecture △ talk concert with 3 speakers △ presentation of best startup cases.

The keynote lecture will feature senior Kim Young-hoon of Midas IT, a Pangyo-based software company, Jang Won-yeol, team leader at Kakao Ventures, and Jang Seok-jin, team leader at Born2Global Center, who will share various insights on strengthening the global capabilities of startups.

In the talk concert, three speakers will candidly discuss why win-win cooperation between startups, mid-sized companies, and large corporations has become important, as well as issues related to startups entering the global market, and discuss ways to cooperate for a true win-win model.

In the presentation of best startup cases, two pre-selected excellent startups based in Pangyo will participate and pitch their innovative items and know-how for success.

Kim Yong-seong, CEO of Ginoba Asia, said, “We were able to hold this event thanks to the full support of the Gyeonggi Business and Science Promotion Agency (GBSA),” and added, “This is a place where Pangyo and startups can continue to cooperate with each other with the same goal of entering the global market.” “I hope it will continue to be provided,” he said.
