Gyeonggi Creative Economy Innovation Center (Director Shin Hyun-sam, hereinafter referred to as ‘Gyeonggi Innovation Center’) announced on the 8th that it will hold a photo exhibition under the theme of ‘Starry Night’ at the Pangyo Startup Zone.

The Pangyo Startup Zone is the largest startup support space in Korea, established by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups to intensively foster promising startups in new industries, and jointly operated by the Korea Startup Promotion Agency and the Gyeonggi Creative Economy Innovation Center. It is located on the 6th to 8th floors of the corporate support hub in Pangyo 2nd Techno Valley.

This photo exhibition will feature 23 photos by Lim Gyeong-soon, president of the Chungnam branch of the Chungnam Digital Photographers Association, and will be held in the Collaboration Lounge on the 6th floor of the Startup Zone. The work, under the theme of ‘Starry Night’, contains a landscape that combines stars and scenery, including the Milky Way.

Photographer Lim Gyeong-soon said, “This is the first time I am showing my work, which I have painstakingly captured at each angle, to startups. I hope that this will be a great comfort to startups exhausted by COVID-19 by enjoying this image that is shown when the sky allows.” “I hope so,” he said.

An official from the startup zone said, “I hope that the startups in the startup zone will gain new inspiration and revitalize themselves through this exhibition.”

In addition, the startup zone plans to hold the ‘2021 Startup 815 Homecoming Festa’ for three days starting on the 15th along with a photo exhibition. This event consisted of the last investment information session (IR) of the Gyeonggi Innovation Center incubator company in 2021, various networking programs, and an opportunity to share achievements between companies and end the year.

Meanwhile, the Gyeonggi Innovation Center is a ‘startup hub where people, information, ideas, and investments gather’ and is carrying out the duties of Korea’s largest startup support cluster, including business advancement (support for attracting investment and connection with large corporations) and development of sales channels (global advancement).
