    [Pangyo Tech] Flex conducts ‘Mind Reading Pilot Project’ with 3 special schools

    ‘Flex Co., Ltd. (CEO Soon-il Yoon)’, an edutech venture based on emotional data, announced on the 15th that it will conduct a ‘mind-reading pilot project’ with special schools.

    The ‘Mind Reading Pilot Project’ is part of the ‘Korea Education and Research Information Service (KERIS)’ matching program between educational field experts and edutech start-ups. It is scheduled to be conducted for approximately three months with Gyeongnam Hyerim School, Yonsei University Rehabilitation School, and Gyeongsangnam-do Hamyang Office of Education Special Education Support Center.

    The main contents of this pilot project are ▲providing one-to-one messages based on video diaries written by students, ▲providing personality and communication guides, and ▲conducting face-to-face and non-face-to-face counseling twice a month. The purpose is to read the minds of participating students through ‘Kids Diary,’ an AI infant and toddler psychological analysis app operated by Flex, and to help them communicate at home and at school.

    Flax plans to further increase performance through emotional data held through the existing Kids Diary and counseling support from professional psychological analysts. In the future, it is expected that more educational institutions will be able to receive help through expansion of educational institutions linked to the pilot project.

    Yeri Seo, a psychological analysis researcher at Flax, said, “This pilot project will serve as an opportunity for not only families but also educational institutions to grow into a service that helps with communication by understanding the psychological state of students through Kids Diary.”

    Meanwhile, ‘Kids Diary’ is a service that analyzes children’s video diaries with artificial intelligence and provides customized personality education and communication guides based on their psychology, emotional state, and interests. It holds 9 patents and is certified by 3 international standardization organizations. (ISO) certified.
