Youth F&B Co., Ltd. (CEO Park Jin-wan) will hold the ‘7 Agri & Food Tech Start-up Rising Expo’ held at COEX Hall A in Seoul for three days from Wednesday, July 26th to Friday, July 28th. 3).
Youth F&B operates ‘Skewer Market’ as a ‘Youth Chicken Skewers’ restaurant franchise brand and an online B2B wholesale distribution business. In addition, by establishing a subsidiary, BS Food Tech, the company is expanding its fulfillment business through direct production, R&D, and distribution of chicken skewer-related products.
At this exhibition, we plan to announce BS Food Tech’s automation of skewer production. In addition, among the menus of the restaurant brand ‘Youth Chicken Skewers’, ‘Spicy Kimchi Flavored Chicken Skewers’ will be launched in collaboration with Seoul Sisters Kimchi Seasoning.
Youth F&B, which first announced its start in the delivery market with an item called chicken skewers, said, “We achieved first place in the restaurant rankings in less than four weeks after the store opened. “Currently, we have our 4th domestic franchise, and our average sales are maintaining the lead of the brand,” he said. “We are not satisfied with this, but aim to establish the know-how we have experienced domestically in the overseas delivery market.”
He then shared his future business plans, saying, “In this way, we are planning to promote the taste of Korea abroad by using Korea’s traditional sauces and local ingredients.”
Meanwhile, at AFRO 2023, the largest Agtech & Foodtech event in Korea, domestic startups with global growth potential in Agtech, Foodtech, and Green Bio will exhibit products and services to solve various problems in the agriculture and food industries, Various programs such as conferences discussing the present and future of Agtech and Foodtech and investment briefings (IR competitions) are held. This exhibition is hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and supervised by the Korea Agricultural Technology Promotion Agency, NH Nonghyup, COEX, and the Korea Food Tech Council.
