B&P Instrument Co., Ltd. (CEO Seo Jeong-sik) will participate in ‘KOBA 5 (16st International Broadcasting, Media, Sound and Lighting Exhibition)’ held at COEX in Seoul from Tuesday, May 19th to Friday, May 2023th. We will participate and showcase Audio Precision’s APx series product line.

B&P Instruments has been supplying various electronic measuring instruments and unmanned weather measurement systems to Korea since its founding in 1992. As the official Korean distributor of Audio Precision, the company explains that in addition to product delivery, the technical department provides after-sales service to ensure customer satisfaction, and also guarantees product installation, training, and after-sales service.

This exhibition introduces Audio Precision’s APx series product line, which is recognized in the field of electronic audio and electroacoustic test equipment.

Among these, the APx517 B Series acoustic audio analyzer is designed and configured to meet production line requirements. Ideal for testing speakers, microphones, headphones, headsets and devices with integrated speakers or microphones, the APx517B provides manufacturers with an integrated system that brings the renowned quality, reliability and robustness of Audio Precision’s lab-oriented analyzers to their manufacturing lines. can be introduced.

APx517B maintains the APx series’ tradition of flexibility and optional configuration, and is introduced as a ready-to-use system for measuring analog speakers, microphones, headphones, or headsets with just the basic configuration.

For digital devices, the APx517B has a module slot for adding a single digital interface module such as Bluetooth, PDM, or HDMI. On the software side, the basic configuration provides a basic set of measurements and the ability to perform basic tests of the acoustic device out of the box. Additional advanced measurement options are available as individual options or as part of the APx500 Flex Pack.

The APx525B, which will also be introduced, is a two-channel audio analyzer for R&D engineers and production technicians who want quick and easy audio testing but do not need the ultra-high performance of the APx555 or the multi-channel capabilities of the APx585.

I/O versatility The APx525B has 2 balanced and 2 unbalanced analog inputs and outputs via AES/EBU, TOSLINK and SPDIF, and 216k digital inputs and outputs, while the APx526 is designed for typical 4-channel head units in the car audio industry. This is a 525-channel version of the developed APx4B.

I/O can also be expanded using optional Digital Serial (APx525B and APx526), HDMI + ARC (APx525B), PDM (APx525B and APx526), and Bluetooth (APx525B and APx526) modules.

Meanwhile, the KOBA exhibition, co-hosted by Korea E&X and the Korea Broadcasting Engineers Association, was held for the first time in 1991 to improve domestic broadcasting culture and develop the media, sound, and lighting industries, and is celebrating its 31st anniversary this year. KOBA 2023, held at COEX Halls A, C, and D, presents next-generation broadcasting services and the future of the media, sound, and lighting industries. In particular, during the exhibition period, it provides an opportunity to acquire professional information related to broadcasting and sound through the International Broadcasting Technology Conference hosted by the Korea Broadcasting Engineers Association and the sound-related professional technology seminar hosted by the Korea Sound Artists Association and the Acoustical Society of Korea.
