Hanmac IT Co., Ltd. (CEO Yeni Choi) will participate in ‘KOBA 5 (16st International Broadcasting, Media, Sound and Lighting Exhibition)’ held at COEX in Seoul from Tuesday, May 19th to Friday, May 2023th. He announced that he would participate.
Hanmac IT is a subsidiary of Hanmac Electronics Co., Ltd., established in 1988. Since its establishment, Hanmac IT has grown by supplying leading overseas cutting-edge measurement equipment to domestic research institutes, schools, and large corporations.
Currently, we are expanding our influence in the domestic high-tech parts and finished products market through exclusive contracts with 25 companies around the world (LED signage, electricity, electronics, optical communication, video, IR CAM, etc.), and we have developed our own pool since 2007. The company explains that it has started producing color LED electronic signs and is developing related technologies and capabilities.
At this exhibition, Hanmac IT plans to introduce CoB (Chip-on-Board) type LED display and its material, ‘SMD1515’.
These displays feature a wide color gamut and free brightness and color temperature control functions, and also have the advantage of being able to flexibly adjust the size of the entire display. In addition, when operating an LED system, not only HDR effects but also general SDR video sources can be displayed with quality close to HDR, which allows customers to significantly reduce content operation costs.
In addition, power operating costs can be dramatically reduced with higher contrast, wider viewing angle, and lower power consumption, and the thickness of the die-cast aluminum cabinet has been reduced to half that of existing products, making it lightweight. Furthermore, it can be converted into a horizontal or vertical cabinet depending on site installation conditions, allowing installation and operation in a variety of environments.
An official from Hanmac IT said, “Our LED display has acquired various certifications such as CE, CB, CCC, and ROHS 2.0, and has secured the potential to be used in domestic and overseas markets.” He added, “In Korea, it has already been used in churches and shopping malls across the country. “We have received positive responses from the supply to broadcasting stations, corporate auditoriums, hotel convention halls, professional wedding halls, and public institution situation rooms,” he added.
Meanwhile, the KOBA exhibition, co-hosted by Korea E&X and the Korea Broadcasting Engineers Association, was held for the first time in 1991 to improve domestic broadcasting culture and develop the media, sound, and lighting industries, and is celebrating its 31st anniversary this year. KOBA 2023, held at COEX Halls A, C, and D, presents next-generation broadcasting services and the future of the media, sound, and lighting industries. In particular, during the exhibition period, it provides an opportunity to acquire professional information related to broadcasting and sound through the International Broadcasting Technology Conference hosted by the Korea Broadcasting Engineers Association and the sound-related professional technology seminar hosted by the Korea Sound Artists Association and the Acoustical Society of Korea.
