Samigong Co., Ltd. (CEO Han Gyeong-tak) will participate in ‘KOBA 5 (16st International Broadcasting, Media, Sound and Lighting Exhibition)’ held at COEX in Seoul from Tuesday, May 19th to Friday, May 2023th. He said he would.
Samigong is a specialized developer of wireless microphones for broadcasting, established in 2016. The company explained that management and product development are continuing under the leadership of CEO Han Kyung-tak, who has 17 years of experience in field simultaneous recording, and Development Department Executive Director Yoo Seung-ho, who has 25 years of RF and sound-related source technology.
Despite its short history as a relatively new company, Samigong has proven the excellence of its products and quality by delivering its products to public and general programming channels. In addition, the company continues to grow by expanding its customer range to various companies, institutions, and individual consumers, including online creators, theaters, cultural centers, gyms, school classrooms, and conference rooms.
At this exhibition, Samigong plans to showcase microphone systems such as its UHF wireless microphone package ‘R2’ series. The R2 series, which is considered a representative product, is a wireless microphone system consisting of a transmitter ‘HKT100’ and a receiver ‘HKR200’. By applying special polycarbonate pressure injection coating, durability and heat resistance are greatly increased, and it has the advantage of being operable in harsher environments.
The R2 series transmitter, which boasts a wide dynamic range and high-quality sound, differentiates itself by supporting its own wide mp3 extension voice recording function, and the receiver provides 99 variable channels of the highly stable PLL type. In addition, the official emphasized that the quality of transmitted and received sound can be checked in real time through the headphone terminal on the front, and the RF reception sensitivity is also at an optimal level.
Samigong said, “We are replacing imported products by domestically producing them in the domestic broadcasting equipment audio market, and are pursuing an active sales channel development strategy using the recent active export of Korean entertainment content as a stepping stone,” adding, “We are pursuing an active sales channel development strategy in China, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, etc. “The countries will be our priority targets, and we will work closely with export-seeking companies that have formed a consortium to achieve meaningful results,” he said.
Meanwhile, the KOBA exhibition, co-hosted by Korea E&X and the Korea Broadcasting Engineers Association, was held for the first time in 1991 to improve domestic broadcasting culture and develop the media, sound, and lighting industries, and is celebrating its 31st anniversary this year. KOBA 2023, held at COEX Halls A, C, and D, presents next-generation broadcasting services and the future of the media, sound, and lighting industries. In particular, during the exhibition period, it provides an opportunity to acquire professional information related to broadcasting and sound through the International Broadcasting Technology Conference hosted by the Korea Broadcasting Engineers Association and the sound-related professional technology seminar hosted by the Korea Sound Artists Association and the Acoustical Society of Korea.
