Korea Godobuki Co., Ltd. (CEO Masayuki Takayama) will be holding ‘KOBA 2023 (31st International Broadcasting, Media, Sound and Lighting Exhibition)’ held at COEX in Seoul from Tuesday, May 16 to Friday, May 19. He announced that he would participate in
‘KOTOBUKI SEATING’, which first began making furniture for public facilities in Japan in 1914, is a chair manufacturer. To date, we have supplied seats to renowned performance halls and halls at home and abroad, and we plan to introduce new products through this exhibition.
Godobuki’s ‘LOOP TS-133828’, unlike existing auditorium chairs, has integrated armrests and a loop-shaped crust frame. In particular, the lower part of the loop-shaped crust frame is easy to maintain as dust does not accumulate easily. It was selected as The ‘ㄷ’-shaped back panel implemented with advanced woodworking technology presents an elegant design, and the seat can be pushed all the way to the backrest, adding more space to the aisle space, which can be crowded when entering and exiting.
‘CAROL TS-727615’ is a barrier-free concert hall chair that emphasizes support when standing and sitting. Since you can hold the armrests firmly with both hands, you can stand up stably, and even the elderly can use it with greater peace of mind. The standing angle that makes sitting easy and the shape of the front end of the seat have the advantage of allowing you to sit comfortably without using your hands. The front part of the armrest is round and long to make it easy to hold by hand, making it easy for anyone to move in and out of the chair.
‘Duck Tail TSA-146513’ has a raised part of the seat that holds the waist, relieving fatigue and providing a comfortable sitting experience as if you were at home. The seat balance of existing products distributes the load to the lower hips, but this product expands the range where the load is distributed from the tailbone to the lower back, providing greater comfort and stability.
An official from Korea Godobuki said, “Our concert hall chairs are equipped with an automatic erection mechanism on the seat, enabling smooth moving and sitting without noise, and the wave-shaped spring supports the seat, providing comfort even when sitting for a long time.” He added, “High-density urethane foam. “We maximized the user’s sense of stability, and designed it with a smooth finish of molded plywood using eco-friendly paint that minimizes formaldehyde.”
He continued, “It is a professional auditorium chair with sound-absorbing performance that matches the acoustic design of the concert hall, as well as high-quality flame-retardant fabric. “Our company has a wide range of products, including electric portable bleachers that can be stored and deployed, movie theater chairs, and sleeping capsules,” he explained.
Meanwhile, the KOBA exhibition, co-hosted by Korea E&X and the Korea Broadcasting Engineers Association, was held for the first time in 1991 to improve domestic broadcasting culture and develop the media, sound, and lighting industries, and is celebrating its 31st anniversary this year. KOBA 2023, held at COEX Halls A, C, and D, presents next-generation broadcasting services and the future of the media, sound, and lighting industries. In particular, during the exhibition period, it provides an opportunity to acquire professional information related to broadcasting and sound through the International Broadcasting Technology Conference hosted by the Korea Broadcasting Engineers Association and the sound-related professional technology seminar hosted by the Korea Sound Artists Association and the Acoustical Society of Korea.
