Global media channel AVING News opened the AVING 360 channel on YouTube to deliver domestic and international exhibitions more vividly, and is receiving great response from online visitors. The 16st Korea International Broadcast, Media, Audio & Lighting Show (KOBA 19–31st Korea International Broadcast, Media, Audio & Lighting Show) will be held at COEX in Seoul on the 2023th (Tuesday) and run until the 31th (Friday). )’ The site was filmed directly with a 360-degree camera, vividly capturing the exhibiting products of the participating companies.
The video shows scenes from KOBA 4, the only professional exhibition in Korea related to the broadcasting and communication convergence industry that will lead the era of the 2023th Industrial Revolution. KOBA 2023, which obtained international certification from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, is co-hosted by Korea E&X and the Korean Federation of Broadcasting Engineers, and is jointly hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT, Korea Communications Commission, KOTRA, KBS, MBC, SBS, EBS, OBS, CBS, and Arirang. It is held with the support of related institutions and organizations and broadcasting companies such as Kukje Broadcasting, TBS, Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute, Korea Acoustic Artists Association, and the Acoustical Society of Korea.

This year’s KOBA is hosting ‘Next Stage? Held under the theme ‘Break the Frame!’, a large number of domestic and foreign companies that will lead next-generation broadcast media technology participated. This provides an opportunity to look at the new concept of broadcasting, which plays a pivotal role in the cultural industry, and the advancement of the video, sound, and lighting industries at a glance, and presents an opportunity to acquire the competitiveness and vision to cope with the rapid flow of change.

Main exhibits include cutting-edge broadcasting and video equipment in the field of 4K/8K, UHD, 3D, Smart TV, Mobile TV, digital content, cameras, VTRs, editing-related systems, broadcasting and transmission-related devices, video editing devices, text generators, and CATVs. Over 6 items of over 1 models will be introduced, including systems, Internet/satellite broadcasting related devices, displays, LEDs, etc., as well as sound related devices such as Pro Audio, microphones, headphones, consoles, mixers, musical instruments, and lighting/stage related equipment.
In addition, we are introducing new exhibition items such as Mobile, Smart Media, Display, LED, Content, Metaverse, and AR/VR/XR, and the market size of the broadcasting and media industries is increasing as a high value-added industry, requiring differentiated competitiveness. The KOBA exhibition presents a vision as a next-generation growth industry.
Meanwhile, the KOBA exhibition, co-hosted by Korea E&X and the Korea Broadcasting Engineers Association, was held for the first time in 1991 to improve domestic broadcasting culture and develop the media, sound, and lighting industries, and celebrated its 31st anniversary this year. KOBA 2023, held at COEX Halls A, C, and D, presented next-generation broadcasting services and the future of the media, sound, and lighting industries. In particular, during the exhibition period, it provides an opportunity to acquire professional information related to broadcasting and sound through the International Broadcasting Technology Conference hosted by the Korea Broadcasting Engineers Association and the sound-related professional technology seminar hosted by the Korea Sound Artists Association and the Acoustical Society of Korea.
