Inhand Plus Co., Ltd. (CEO Lee Hwi-won) announced that it will participate in ‘BIO KOREA 5’ held at COEX, Seoul for three days from May 10 (Wed) to 12 (Fri).
Inhand Plus is a company that develops a smart watch exclusively for medication management and a medication management platform based on artificial intelligence technology to solve the problem of medication non-compliance, which has emerged as an issue. We intend to provide personalized healthcare services and insights using medication data.
The ‘In-Hand Watch’ to be introduced at this exhibition is a smartwatch-based medication management solution that includes personalized medication management and health life log management functions. Through the app, functions such as personalized automatic medication record and drug side effect management can be used for clinical participants, chronic disease patients, and mentally ill patients in conjunction with smartwatches. In addition, it is possible to efficiently manage subjects such as clinical managers, guardians, and social workers using the web.
In-Hand Plus’ self-developed smartwatch-based behavioral analysis AI algorithm analyzes medication-taking behavior and creates real-use data to provide data-based personalized medication management services.
The solution can automatically collect actual medication use data required for telemedicine and remote monitoring by automatically analyzing what medications the user took when and when the user wears a smartwatch. In addition, it is possible to analyze not only medications but also various behaviors, so it is possible to analyze inhalers, blood glucose meters, self-injections, multiple drugs, and specific foods.
An official from Inhand Plus said, “It is estimated that 35 tons of unmedicated medicines are recalled at home and abroad. In addition, medication management is directly related to patient health recovery and social costs, but the responsibility for medication management after prescription is entirely given to the individual,” he said. It is done,” he explained.
He continued, “Currently, mass production of the second-generation in-hand watch is ahead. We optimized usability with a design that even senior users can easily wear, and it became possible to collect user health data and lifelog for personalized health management,” he said. “BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) technology, a low-power connection between in-handwatch and smart sensor , maximizing user convenience by enabling automatic connection/disconnection according to each device’s efficient power usage and distance. It is scheduled to be released in Korea in the second half of this year,” said the business plan.
