The Ministry of Science and ICT and TTA planned the ‘4G We introduced domestic wireless power transmission technologies and companies that can be used for various innovative services in the 19G industry.

ByEnergy, which participated in the exhibition, is a startup that specializes in developing electric vehicle power conversion systems. Since its founding in 2011, it has been growing based on its expertise in electric vehicle charging technology, from wired chargers to wireless charging technology.

Currently, we are focusing on electric vehicle charging and management fields such as wired and wireless charging, wireless charging, power modules, V2G, electric vehicle parts, and integrated control as our main technologies. Considering the current situation where electric vehicle infrastructure is gradually becoming established, there is very high growth potential. I am being recognized.

In particular, as rapid demand for wireless charging solutions for automobiles is expected from the moment the era of autonomous vehicles opens, ByEnergy is accelerating research and development in this field and also introduced a related system at this exhibition.

The automobile wireless charging system being developed by ByEnergy is installed in the form of a pad in the parking line. Charging occurs automatically from the moment you park the car.

When autonomous driving becomes possible, the car automatically enters the parking line and recharges automatically, just as a robot vacuum cleaner returns to the charging station, leaving people with little to do other than getting on and off the car. Even connecting a charging gun to charge a car becomes a very cumbersome task.

Another innovative technology is the V2G (vehicle-to-grid) solution. ‘V2G two-way charging technology’ implemented with semiconductor technology is a technology that strengthens the grid by providing battery power during peak demand for electricity, and can supply power from cars to homes when electricity rates are high or a power outage occurs.

The battery capacity of one electric vehicle can be used at home for about two months, and it is expected that in the near future, within a few years, an era of supplying power to homes through cars will begin, and the technology that will make this happen is the V2G solution.

ByEnergy is focusing on developing smart energy management systems, including V2G, through research on electric vehicle power conversion systems.

Meanwhile, the ‘World IT Show’, a one-stop platform for digital transformation, is a representative exhibition leading the next-generation high-tech industry. The 2023 World IT Show, with the slogan ‘Changing our life, K-Digital’, will feature ▲AI platform, Internet of Things (IoT), cloud, and ICT convergence services ▲Smart home, office, and home appliances. and smart healthcare ▲Intelligent mobility and robots such as autonomous driving, UAM, drones, etc. ▲Digital Twin & Metaverse (XR technology) ▲Cloud and software ▲Security software & Blockchain (NFT) ▲The latest technologies and products in the field of quantum information science Exhibited and introduced. In addition, the ‘WIS 2023 Innovation Award’ and the ‘2023 Korea ImpaCT-ech Grand Prize’ were awarded to the technologies and products that attracted the most attention among participating companies.
