Etiforce Co., Ltd. (CEO Lim Yong-je) participated in the ‘3 Seoul Mobility Show’ held for a total of 31 days at KINTEX from March 4st to April 9th.
Established in 2018, Etiforce is a company that specializes in developing V2X products and supplying solutions. It continues to develop and supply various solutions for autonomous cooperative driving-related applications and related data services based on V2X communication (WAVE, LTE, 5G-V2X).
Based on such excellent communication technology, the company explains that it is pursuing a world where all means of moving on the road are interconnected, and as a result, there are no traffic accidents and unnecessary carbon emissions, and complete autonomous driving is possible.
At this exhibition, Etiforce introduced ‘V2X-AIR’, a compact V2X solution, and ‘PROMETHEUS’, a hybrid terminal that supports both V2X such as WAVE and LTE.
In particular, V2X-AIR is a V2X solution that can be linked with a smartphone and is portable. It supports 29 services out of 16 services of Korea Expressway Corporation, including the function of receiving safety messages delivered in real time. It is characterized by being small and light at 1/3 level. As a result, it can be installed not only on cars, but also on small means of transportation such as bicycles, wheelchairs, and kickboards, and boasts excellent efficiency in maintenance.
In addition, 5G-V2X Sidelink platform ‘SIRIUS’ was introduced. This is an integrated solution platform that supports function and performance tests of the 5G-V2X Sidelink (3GPP release 16) protocol and rapid prototyping Day-1 and Advanced Use cases. It was used in the world’s first 31G-V5X-based autonomous cooperative driving sensor data (2K Video, LiDAR) sharing demonstration on the 4st of last month and proved its performance, providing user-definable convenience and reliability, and unlocking the potential of 5G-V2X technology. It is expected to be a product that can be maximized.
An official from Etiforce said, “We will successfully expand and supply V2X and SIRIUS to solidify our position as a company specializing in V2X solutions, and at the same time, we want to enter the Asian, European, and American markets.” With the goal of developing modem solutions, we plan to expand our development and investment to achieve our vision of ‘connecting everything that moves’.”
“For this vision and goal, we are introducing our product lineup at this exhibition and actively promoting buyer meetings,” he said. It was also meaningful to publicize the point,” he explained the reason for participating in this exhibition.
Meanwhile, the 2023 Seoul Mobility Show will begin with a press day on March 1th (Thursday) at KINTEX Exhibition Hall 3 in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do under the theme of ‘Sustainable·Connected·Mobility (Sustainable·Connected·Mobility)’ and end on April 30th ( It will be held until Sunday.
