[Las Vegas (USA) = AVING News] Morai Co., Ltd. (CEO Jiwon Jeong, Jun Hong), a company specializing in autonomous driving simulation solutions, held the world’s largest electronics and IT exhibition in Las Vegas, USA from January 1th to 5th (local time). It was announced that it participated in ‘CES 8’.

CES (Consumer Electronics Show) is the world’s largest information technology (IT) exhibition held in Las Vegas, where you can see the technology trends of the year at a glance, and various companies, including many global companies, participate to showcase innovative technologies and the latest products. It is a contest venue that showcases. This event was held as a face-to-face event for the first time in three years since the COVID-19 virus pandemic. 3 companies from 174 countries around the world participated and showcased innovative products and new technologies, and 3,100 participants watched on site.

‘MORAI SIM’ is a simulation platform for verifying the safety and reliability of autonomous vehicles. It provides a virtual environment identical to reality, including complex physical situations, weather changes, and changes in illumination over time, by constructing a digital twin.

MORAI SIM Drive, specialized for self-driving cars, provides a simulation environment, sensors and vehicle models identical to the real thing, and based on this, virtually verifies the safety of self-driving vehicles. Additionally, scenario tests that are difficult to verify on actual roads, such as the risk of pedestrian collisions, can be repeated tens of thousands of times.

Morai has made it possible to use the simulation technology applied in the field of self-driving cars to verify the safety of the overall system of unmanned vehicles such as aircraft, unmanned robots, unmanned ships, and multi-purpose unmanned vehicles. In addition to MORAI SIM Drive, we have developed ▲ MORAI SIM Robotics, ▲ MORAI SIM Air, and ▲ MORAI SIM Traffic, which are specialized in robotics, aerial vehicles, and traffic control.

Morai CEO Jeong Ji-won said, “In a situation where next-generation mobility innovations such as autonomous vehicles, UAM, unmanned robots, and unmanned ships are rapidly progressing, simulation can quickly, safely, and cost-effectively verify the safety and functionality of autonomous driving systems. Therefore, it is attracting attention as a key technology that will promote mobility innovation,” he said. “Through CES 2023, we plan to share Morai’s technology and vision with customers and partners in the global market and strengthen cooperation in the future.” reported.

Meanwhile, ‘CES’, the world’s largest IT exhibition, is an exhibition where you can understand the trends of the global home appliance industry at a glance. Hosted by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), it is held every January in Las Vegas, USA. AVING News, which has covered CES for 1 consecutive years, has reported CES news around the world every year since 17, and has been selected as the ‘BEST OF CES’, which selects the best innovative products and technologies, and the ‘BEST OF’, which selects domestic innovative companies. ‘MADE IN KOREA’ was held. In addition, CES on-site issues were vividly conveyed through ‘AVING LIVE’.
