In line with the theme of ‘Smart Transportation City Seoul, Eco-Friendly City Seoul’ at this year’s CES Seoul Pavilion, the Seoul Business Agency (SBA) is promoting smart mobility technology that realizes the daily life we have dreamed of, as well as renewable and smart energy such as eco-friendly fuel cells and next-generation batteries that support this. A variety of core technologies for diffusion were showcased.
Smart mobility is the main concept of CES 2023 Seoul Pavilion. Seoul is actively working to establish a new urban air traffic (UAM) system and achieve carbon neutrality (Net Zero) with the goal of realizing ‘Smart Transportation City Seoul, Seoul a Breathable City’, which is the core goal of ‘Seoul Vision 2030’.
With the goal of creating a foundation for Seoul-style urban air transportation (UAM), the city of Seoul plans to pilot a ‘high-tech air taxi (UAM)’ that can travel from Incheon Airport to Yongsan in just 15 minutes in 2025, and will provide autonomous public transportation within Seoul.
