Hyundai Motor Group’s open innovation platform Zero One participated and collaborated at ‘CES 2023’, the world’s largest IT and home appliance exhibition held in Las Vegas, USA for a total of 4 days from January 5th (Thursday) to 8th (Sunday, local time). Zero One has continued to discover and invest in promising startups, including building an open innovation ecosystem based on collaboration with various creative talents. At the same time, Zero One explains that it is actively investing the company’s capabilities in fostering in-house startups.
Zero One is verifying and developing the potential for strategic use of innovative technologies through the ‘ZER01NE ACCELERATOR’ program, which discovers and invests in startups with excellent capabilities. We have achieved remarkable results, including executing equity investments in 72 of the 140 startups that have participated to date.
At the same time, we are investing in employees with creative ideas through the in-house startup development program ‘ZER01NE Company Builder’, and to date, a total of 25 in-house startups have been launched as independent companies.
Zero One plans to lay the foundation for global expansion by introducing open innovation activities at CES 2023, securing a network and collaboration base for collaborating startups, and creating investment opportunities.
