Aviman Engineering Co., Ltd. (CEO Kang Seong-yeol) will participate in ‘KOPLAS 3 (14th International Plastics and Rubber Industry Exhibition)’ held at KINTEX in Ilsan for 18 days from Tuesday, March 5th to Saturday, March 2023th. He announced that he would participate.

Aviman Engineering is expanding the smart factory area optimized for customers’ businesses by securing cutting-edge technology in injection process optimization facilities and accumulated know-how in the robotics and automation fields.

With Yudo Suns and Yudo Robotics merging to form Abiman Engineering, KOPLAS 2023 is an exhibition where customers can meet face-to-face for the first time in six years, and an official explains that it is a meaningful event in which the four Abiman family companies participate together. He added that he has been working with many customers with outstanding technology in the plastic injection molding and automation fields, and that this exhibition will also provide an opportunity to get a glimpse of Aviman’s technology and efforts that have continued to grow without stopping.

ART, which will be introduced at this exhibition, is a multi-joint take-out robot that combines the optimal multi-joint 5-axis and 1 orthogonal axis. It has freedom of posture and movement like an articulated robot, but has the advantage of being easy and simple to operate and operate like a take-out robot, and is composed of optimal axes, allowing more functions to be implemented at an economical cost.

GIGA PLUS take-out robot combines the advantages of an orthogonal robot and an articulated robot. At the exhibition, products consisting of 3-axis orthogonal and 4-axis multi-joints are exhibited, and the multi-joints can be configured in various ways depending on needs from 1 axis to 4 axes. GIGA PLUS has the high speed and wide work radius of an orthogonal robot, and the flexible posture of the final stage is the same as that of an articulated robot, the company said. In addition, various post-processes can be easily automated with its simple structure and easy operation.

In addition, automated order processing processes such as ‘Piece Picking System’ and ‘Mixed Robot Palletizer’ are introduced. This is a system that automatically picks various individual items and loads them into packaging containers that consumers can receive. It is a factory automation technology that consists of a robot and 3D vision and uses a palletizing algorithm to recognize individual items and automatically load not only certain boxes but also various types of boxes.

An official from Aviman Engineering said, “The existing products of the articulated take-out robot ART and hybrid take-out robot GIGA PLUS were only able to perform simple processes with simple configurations, but the newly introduced products were developed to be able to perform a variety of complex processes. “It has the advantage of being able to be operated with easy and simple operation as before,” he said. “The robot operating software is developed in-house, so it can quickly respond to customers’ special needs or functions. In addition, it is basically equipped with the function to generate and transmit data necessary for building a smart factory,” he explained.

Based on these technologies and quality, Aviman Engineering has shown continuous growth since 2019. In particular, in 2022, sales reached 30 billion won, up more than 670% compared to the previous year, and exports amounted to $1,400 million.

Regarding this, an official said, “Starting with the take-out robot, which accounts for 50% of sales, sales are made up of items that can encompass the entire process, such as rationalization equipment, auto-feeding, and injection/processing line automation. In addition, through the development of collaborative robots and logistics automation systems, we have unrivaled technological capabilities that can provide integrated solutions for all processes, including product retrieval, processing, inspection, assembly, transportation, and loading.”

Plans for new products and services scheduled to be released in the future were also announced. An official said, “Abiman Engineering seeks to provide comprehensive services by integrating all products based on YU-CLOUD. Monitoring, controlling, and even predictive maintenance are possible anywhere there is an Internet connection. In addition, the new 10-inch HMI is equipped with various customization options and smart functions, and we are also preparing a mobile HMI that can be freely used anytime, anywhere.”

He continued, “Starting in 2021, Aviman Engineering will provide inspection services, and we are planning the best services, including free inspection services, to expand our activities more actively as customer satisfaction increases. “Starting in 2023, we plan to take steps to strengthen our position not only in the domestic market but also in overseas markets,” he said.

On the other hand, KOPLAS, which celebrates its 2023th anniversary in 27, provides a variety of attractions from raw materials for plastics to molds, processing machines, related auxiliary devices, automation solutions, printing, packaging, semi-finished products, and finished products, and presents the present and future of related industries. It provides a ‘place for the plastic rubber-related industry’. As it is held at the same time as the Korea Material·Composite Material and Equipment Exhibition (K-Mtech) and the International Mold and Related Equipment Exhibition (INTERMOLD KOREA), you can meet various products in one place.
