Mars Farm Co., Ltd. (CEO Lee Hyun) will hold the ‘7 Agri & Food Tech Start-up Rising Expo 26’ held at COEX Hall A in Seoul for three days from Wednesday, July 28th to Friday, July 3th. )’.

Mars Farm researches and develops a 3rd generation smart farm solution that provides one-stop crop cultivation standard service models such as production prediction model, pest diagnosis model, patented environmental control standard model, and greenhouse cumulative environment-based production prediction through the cloud AI-SaaS platform. It’s a company.

The 3rd generation smart farm solution is based on farming raw data, AI deep learning technology, and AIoT convergence solutions to achieve innovation in ultra-precision agriculture. The IoT configuration within the farm consists of Internet DDNS-Mini PC-PLC composite controller panel-sensor-exhaust fan-flow fan-window opener-nutrient solution and AI-SaaS platform cloud software that provides cultivation standard service models.

Sensors installed in common greenhouses collect standardized environmental data of temperature and humidity – solar radiation – CO2 and nutrient solution irrigation data of irrigation amount – irrigation frequency – EC-PH. Additionally, there are motors that control windows, flow fans, ventilators, and nutrient solution units to provide optimal environmental conditions and nutrient solution irrigation conditions for crops. After collecting and analyzing data, the software makes predictions using deep learning of self-reinforcement learning and provides standardized data in real time to automatically control motors for improved yield and crop production.

At this exhibition, we plan to announce an all-in-one, one-stop cultivation subscription service. This service is an ‘AI-SaaS’ that provides automatic cultivation of models for each crop that increases production by 1 to 2 times compared to existing 2st and 4nd generation smart farm technology by applying ML/DL’s AI modeling environment control standard model and production prediction model. Through the ‘platform’, an automatic cultivation production prediction model is provided to farms growing tomatoes, paprika, etc.

Data-based cloud computing even models the programming of automatic control, and artificial intelligence proceeds through data modeling, enabling more flexible and precise control depending on the environment and crop condition. Through this, Mars Farm expects to be able to achieve higher production compared to the second-generation smart farm solution, and is currently conducting a demonstration project.

In addition, it standardizes crop cultivation and provides pest and disease diagnosis services and real-time distribution and sales price proposal services.

An official from Mars Farm said, “Our goal is to generate sales for domestic tomato cultivation subscription services, including the Gwangyang tomato farm that is currently being tested in Korea,” and added, “In addition, we are discussing exporting AIaaS-API cultivation subscription services to Denmark and other countries through the KOTRA branching project. . “In March 2022, we signed an MOU with Zolvo, a Danish automatic control company, for a Marsfarm solution consulting partnership, and are also aiming to generate sales overseas.”

He continued, “We plan to build high value-added optimized production and sales capabilities for small-scale farmers with a cloud-based automatic control solution for future production forecasting, pest and disease diagnosis, and sales price prediction services. In addition, we will contribute to the expansion of the high value-added market for ultra-precision agriculture through our 3rd generation smart farm one-stop service that enables rapid crop management, including real-time pest and disease diagnosis through a patented environmental control cultivation logic model and simple smartphone capture.” .

Meanwhile, at AFRO 2023, the largest Agtech & Foodtech event in Korea, domestic startups with global growth potential in Agtech, Foodtech, and Green Bio will exhibit products and services to solve various problems in the agriculture and food industries, Various programs such as conferences discussing the present and future of Agtech and Foodtech and investment briefings (IR competitions) are held. This exhibition is hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and supervised by the Korea Agricultural Technology Promotion Agency, NH Nonghyup, COEX, and the Korea Food Tech Council.
