MarkLines (CEO Makoto Sakai), a global leader in automotive data and research, participated in the 2024 Future Innovation Tech Expo (FIX 2024) held from October 23 to 26 at Daegu EXCO. Founded in 2001 in Japan, MarkLines has grown into a global presence, operating in seven countries and providing specialized insights into the automotive industry.
The company aggregates and analyzes production volumes, technological advancements, and market trends related to automotive manufacturers and suppliers. Its online service platform offers comprehensive data access, and its promotion service, LINES, helps companies showcase their technologies and products globally.
At FIX 2024, MarkLines showcased its information platform, a search engine-based portal offering industry data. Through a single ID, users can access detailed information such as country-specific and model-specific production and sales data, supply chains, launch schedules of new models, factory data for automakers, market trends for major parts suppliers, technology trend reports, and environmental regulations.
The platform also provides regularly updated news and forecast data related to automakers and supply chains, ensuring users stay informed about the latest industry developments. Additionally, MarkLines aggregates information typically available only through automakers and major parts suppliers, providing unparalleled value to its customers.
A company representative stated, “MarkLines’ information platform is recognized as a leading service for delivering trusted and valuable insights across the automotive industry. It supports purchasing professionals in partner discovery and assists sales and marketing teams to plan strategies and understand customer trends.”
The representative also highlighted the company’s expansion into engineering services following the completion of its benchmark center in August. “We have officially launched reverse engineering services, from vehicle and component teardown to testing, procurement, benchmarking, and cost analysis. This initiative broadens our engineering expertise and adds new dimensions to our offerings,” they said.
FIX 2024 featured specialized exhibitions, conferences, and business programs focusing on mobility, robotics, AI, and startups. The Daegu International Future Auto & Mobility Expo 2024 at EXCO’s East Wing showcased trends in UAM, autonomous driving, batteries, components, and services.
