The H2 MEET Organizing Committee (Chairperson Nam-hoon Kang) announced that the ‘Hydrogen Industry Global Partnership Meeting,’ held during the World Hydrogen Expo, ‘H2 MEET 2024,’ from September 25 to 27, showcased various opportunities through active consultations and exchanges between global buyers and participating domestic companies.

Co-organized by the Organizing Committee and KOTRA, the meeting attracted buyers from 31 companies across 12 countries, including Japan, China, Europe, and the Middle East. Over the three-day event, these buyers engaged in discussions with 56 domestic hydrogen-related companies. The Global Partnership Meeting served as a platform for domestic companies to explore new global business channels and achieve tangible outcomes while expanding international exchanges.

Over the first two days, approximately 225 consultations were held, with the total value of consultations reaching around $380 million. The number of consultations is expected to exceed 250 by the end of the event’s final day. Companies like G-Philos, Sentech ENG, Hydrogen Tech, and GHS signed five Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with buyers from Malaysia, China, and Egypt, leading to practical achievements.

During the event, European companies such as Acciona Nordex Green Hydrogen from Spain, CluBE from Greece, NIS from Serbia, and ÚJV Řež from the Czech Republic explored opportunities to collaborate with Korean companies across the entire hydrogen value chain, including hydrogen production, storage, transportation, power generation, and refueling infrastructure.

Additionally, Adani New Industries Limited (ANIL), a leading company in India’s renewable energy sector, visited the event to explore potential domestic clean energy supply collaborations. Six companies from China also attended, seeking to identify domestic suppliers for fuel cell and hydrogen refueling station development.

The consultation sessions took place at the KOTRA Export Consultation Booth within the H2 MEET exhibition hall until the event’s last day on September 27.
