Emerson Korea, represented by CEO Jeong Jae-sung, announced its participation in the upcoming ‘H2 MEET 2024’, which will be held from September 25th to 27th at KINTEX in Goyang City, Gyeonggi Province.

As a global leader in industrial automation, Emerson Korea leverages its expertise in hydrogen, a critical future energy source, to lead the sustainable hydrogen industry with advanced automation solutions. The company also drives digital transformation in the industrial manufacturing sector with its next-generation automation architecture designed for free data usage and enhanced software capabilities.

The upcoming exhibition will highlight Emerson’s vision of ‘Boundless AutomationTM,’ showcasing an intelligent, cohesive software ecosystem from smart field devices to edge computing and the cloud. Emerson’s automation architecture aims to enable instant access to all data, facilitating analysis, innovation, and performance improvements through integrated operations.

At the booth, visitors can explore comprehensive automation solutions from software and hardware that enhance the production efficiency of blue and green hydrogen to:

    – LH2 pressure and safety relief valves for cryogenic solutions,

    – Measurement, control, and remote monitoring portfolios that prevent corrosion, erosion, and leaks in ammonia storage and transport,

    – Solutions for hydrogen generation and high-pressure charging.

Additionally, Emerson will participate in the conference themed ‘Activating the Hydrogen Economy with Cutting-edge Technology.’ On the first day of the exhibition, Hyukjun Son, an S&D (Sustainability & Decarbonization) technical engineer from Emerson, will engage in a Tech Talk session to discuss advanced hydrogen storage and distribution solutions, global trends in the hydrogen economy, Emerson’s distinctive solutions for the hydrogen value chain, and key elements for successful implementation of hydrogen projects.

On the final day, Martin Van Der Merwe, Director of S&D (Sustainability and Decarbonization) for Asia-Pacific, will speak at the Leaders Summit session. He will introduce Emerson’s customer references across the hydrogen value chain and emphasize how automation solutions can prepare projects for the future.

Emerson Korea continuously presents leading automation solutions for hydrogen production, generation, distribution, and fuel terminals to partners worldwide. Last year, the company received an accolade for its digital twin simulation of the electrolysis process at the ‘H2 Innovation Award’ during H2 MEET 2023. This year, Emerson has also made it to the finals with its cryogenic safety valves for hydrogen storage and transport.

An Emerson Korea representative stated, “This exhibition is a significant opportunity to showcase Emerson’s innovative automation solutions and software portfolio that lead the industry towards boundless automation for a sustainable hydrogen economy. We look forward to actively sharing Emerson’s cutting-edge technological capabilities and vision for energizing the hydrogen economy.”

H2 MEET is a specialized hydrogen industry exhibition for domestic and international companies and institutions involved in hydrogen production, storage, transportation, and utilization. This year’s exhibition aims to be a professional event that will enhance participation from global hydrogen industry companies, generate tangible results, and contribute to the understanding of South Korea’s hydrogen economy ecosystem. Starting this year, it will be held in conjunction with H2WORLD, and concurrently, the K-BATTERY SHOW 2024 and the Heating, Air-Conditioning, Refrigeration, and Fluid Exhibition Korea (HARFKO 2024) will also take place at KINTEX Exhibition Center 1.
