The ‘H2 MEET Organizing Committee’ (Chairman Namhoon Kang, from now on referred to as the Organizing Committee) has announced the Tech Talk lineup for the ‘H2 MEET Conference 2024,’ which will take place during ‘H2 MEET 2024,’ opening on Wednesday, September 25. The Organizing Committee comprises the Korea Automobile & Mobility Industry Association, Korea Hydrogen Industry Association(H2 KOREA), Hydrogen Energy Network, Korea Energy Agency, and the Korea Industry Alliance Forum.

With growing global interest in and the importance of the hydrogen industry, the upcoming event will gather hydrogen industry experts from around the world. They will introduce the latest technological trends and offer opportunities for future cooperation.

‘Tech Talk’ serves as a platform where various domestic and international companies, recognized for their technological capabilities in the global market, present the latest technological information and the current state of the hydrogen industry’s value chain, covering hydrogen production, storage, transportation, and utilization. This year’s Tech Talk features the largest number of global speakers in history and will take place from September 25 (Wed) to 27 (Fri) at the specially set seminar hall and 3rd-floor seminar room at KINTEX Hall 1.

On the first day, Wednesday, September 25, leaders from the hydrogen industry, including representatives from INFICON AB, Fives, HEROSE GmbH, and TÜV SÜD, will present on topics such as ▲Leakage testing of hydrogen systems, ▲The role of liquid hydrogen in the mobility value chain, ▲Welding and material selection to prevent hydrogen embrittlement, and ▲Green hydrogen; China’s decarbonization pathway.

On Thursday, September 26, experts from global companies such as Dassault Systèmes, APGreen Inc., the UK’s National Physical Laboratory (Teddington, UK), ThyssenKrupp Nucrea, Ceres, and Tampere University of Finland will speak. Topics include ▲Utilizing digital solutions for efficient and clean hydrogen production, ▲Comparative analysis of plasma chemical hydrogen production processes, ▲Large-scale water electrolysis technology for decarbonization industries, and ▲Partnership cooperation between Ceres and Doosan Fuel Cell. Additionally, there will be various sessions to deepen understanding of cutting-edge technologies, such as ▲Smart manufacturing of reversible solid oxide fuel cells for hydrogen and electricity production and ▲Optimized mass flow control for accurate testing of water electrolysis cells.

On the final day, Friday, September 27, companies such as Utility Global, Festo, and EN2CORE Technology will participate, presenting a wide range of fascinating topics, including ▲Key elements and the most efficient methods for hydrogen equipment to make the energy transition a reality, and ▲Innovative technologies for accelerating the hydrogen ecosystem and implementing hydrogen-based zero-energy building technology.

Chairman Namhoon Kang of the Organizing Committee said, “As the world places great expectations on the hydrogen industry as a key means of achieving carbon neutrality, we have prepared the ‘Tech Talk’ to understand the latest technological trends of global hydrogen-leading countries. We will do our best to make this Tech Talk a space that can provide practical help to hydrogen companies.”

Pre-registration for Tech Talk, held during H2 MEET 2024, is available on the official website until September 24. The website also provides detailed programs and speaker information.

Meanwhile, the K-Battery Show 2024, focusing on secondary battery materials, components, and equipment, and the Heating, Air-Conditioning, Refrigeration, and Fluid Exhibition Korea (HARFKO 2024) will be held concurrently at KINTEX Hall 1.
