Mergerbon Co., Ltd. (CEO Shin Ju-sik) announced that it will participate in ‘DRINK SEOUL 2024’, which will be held at COEX in Seoul for three days from Thursday, April 11th to Saturday, April 13th.
Mugerbone Co., Ltd., which has been developing steadily since its first launch in September 1986, has obtained food safety certification (HACCP/SQF) from selection of raw materials such as various nut products, dried fish meat, snacks, and jerky to processing, production, distribution, and all stages before final consumption. It is a local brand of World Food Co., Ltd.
‘Honey Butter Almond’, which will be introduced at this exhibition, is a product made by mixing domestic honey and savory butter with dry-roasted almonds. Nuts, which are vulnerable to light and moisture, are safely protected with triple vapor deposition packaging, and nitrogen packaging prevents rancidity of the product, allowing the product to be stored without getting soggy. The company emphasized that the product has an 18-month shelf life, making it suitable for domestic distribution as well as export. ‘K-Almond Snack’ is spreading by word of mouth and is expanding awareness both domestically and internationally.
In addition, it is known that inquiries about fish po products are also increasing from overseas. Mergerbon fish pouch products have a manufacturing facility that specializes in drying and producing fish pouches, and have increased product trust through HALAL and HACCP certification.
Mugerbone said, “Based on the brand awareness we have built over the past 40 years, we have a domestic distribution network through over 150 domestic agencies and have been exporting to over 10 countries. Through strict quality control, we have SQF and HACCP certification, and seafood products that have passed HALAL certification are receiving many inquiries from Middle Eastern countries through the recent K-Food craze. “Based on the product awareness we have accumulated so far, we plan to pursue active marketing activities both online through SNS and offline through participation in exhibitions in order to expand overseas markets in earnest in 2024.”
