Odin Robotics Co., Ltd. announced on the 23rd that it has additionally linked Naver’s pass to its access authentication machine.
It is the third authentication method following the KakaoTalk wallet QR and mobile phone number authentication used for existing access authentication. Odin Robotics is the only unmanned store entry machine in Korea that has been commercialized by supporting QR authentication and mobile phone number authentication from Naver and Kakao.
Naver Pass is a mobile access authentication service used as a means of entry. It issues a QR code and allows entry without a physical pass or authentication method.
A Naver official said, “Demand for mobile passes is increasing due to the increase in unmanned stores, and Naver is successfully operating the simple and safe ‘Naver Pass.’ “We look forward to synergies from Odin Robotics, which has the know-how to supply and operate AI access authentication solutions.”
Not only can anyone who uses the Naver app easily obtain a pass without installing a separate app, but store owners can also enjoy the effect of store advertising by registering their usage on Naver.
Odin Robotics is developing and providing the Heimdall unmanned 365 access solution equipped with AI functions that allow managers to remotely manage access to buildings and stores in the unmanned era.
In particular, the advanced entry device launched by Odin Robotics last month includes a display and is capable of transmitting entry guidance images and videos. Therefore, even visitors who are issuing a Naver pass for the first time can enjoy smooth access.
In the future, Odin Robotics plans to hold various events for purchasing customers with Naver to expand Naver’s pass service through the Heimdall unmanned 365 advanced access machine.
An official from Odin Robotics said, “We will continue to strive to develop a solution that can be easily accessed by people who are entering a store or building without a manager for the first time, or by people who are not familiar with the digital environment.”
Meanwhile, Odin Robotics is expanding its business area by supplying AI entry devices, AI CCTV, and kiosks to unmanned mobile worker shelters, various unmanned stores, and smoking rooms.
