Flex Co., Ltd. (CEO Soon-il Yoon), a mental care startup based on emotional data, announced that it has been selected for the 2022 export voucher support project.
The export voucher support project is a project organized by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. It is a project in which the government supports small and medium-sized businesses to purchase various services they need using subsidies in the form of vouchers received from the government.
An official from the company said, “Through this support project, Flex plans to receive support related to overseas marketing, such as consulting and brand promotion, with a focus on online and offline marketing necessary for entering English-speaking countries. Through this, we plan to accelerate our global expansion.”
Meanwhile, Flax Co., Ltd. is a company located in the Pangyo Startup Zone, established by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and operated by the Startup Promotion Agency and the Gyeonggi Creative Economy Innovation Center. It currently operates the ‘Kids Diary’ app service, a mental care diary for infants and toddlers, and is currently used in kindergartens, elementary and middle schools. While the pilot project is in progress, pilot projects are being operated stably overseas at the Korean Association of the Philippines and Washington, DC, USA.
“Kids Diary has the advantage of non-verbal AI psychological analysis through facial expression analysis, so we are expecting successful entry into overseas markets through this support project,” said Lim Hye-seon, senior researcher at Flax Co., Ltd. “We are expecting to launch psychological analysis through picture diaries in the second half of this year.” “We plan to open the service,” he said.
