Gyeonggi Province is recruiting 9 game companies and 10 smart office support companies to move into the Gyeonggi Global Game Center in Pangyo.

Resident companies can use the work space for one year at a low fee (less than 6,334 won/㎡ per month) without a deposit, and can use it for up to two years through extension review.

Smart office-supporting companies can register their business location with the Gyeonggi Global Game Center, and mailbox installation and various mail reception services are supported. In addition, tenant companies and smart office support companies can enjoy various support benefits from Gyeonggi Global Game Center, such as ▲customized consulting in the fields of law, tax, and accounting ▲mobile test device rental ▲cloud service support. In particular, cloud services provide a variety of services tailored to tenant preferences, such as Amazon’s AWS, Alibaba Cloud, and Naver Cloud.

Recruitment targets include businesses currently engaged in game-related businesses in Gyeonggi-do, prospective entrepreneurs, or businesses capable of relocating their headquarters to Gyeonggi-do. There must be no delinquency in national or local taxes.

Companies wishing to move in can submit an application for space support and a company introduction through the Gyeonggi Global Game Center website by the 15th of next month. For more details, please refer to the Gyeonggi Global Game Center website or contact the Gyeonggi Content Agency Game and Digital Innovation Team.

Previously, the province provided 40 rooms and a smart office at the Gyeonggi Global Game Center at the Gyeonggi Creative Economy Innovation Center and Startup Campus in Pangyo to foster and support budding game companies (startups) such as small and medium-sized game companies, solo developers, and indie developers. I’m doing it.

Last year, the province supported a total of 56 companies to move into the Gyeonggi Global Game Center. Among these companies, Wonder Potion and Leehan Creative were selected as TOP 12 at the ‘Made with Unity Korea Awards 2021 (MWU Korea Awards 2021)’.

The development capabilities and achievements of Gyeonggi Global Game Center tenant companies are being proven externally, with resident companies Project Morum and Acorns each receiving a special award at ‘Indiecraft 2021’.

Gyu-sik Kim, Director of Provincial Future Growth Policy, said, “Gyeonggi-do will continue to provide growth support, including space for occupancy, so that budding gaming companies in the province, which are the main players in a healthy gaming ecosystem, can grow stably.”
