Tact Tracer was the first Korean small business to be selected for the IT vendor briefing by global IT advisory company Gartner for the third time.

Starting in 2018, we introduced the inventory management autonomous robot ‘Dragonfly’ to global analysts in the UK, Australia, and the US, and in 2020, we briefed ‘SpiderGo’ and were recognized for its potential for global expansion. This year’s selection was made through direct recommendation from Gartner’s Singapore branch, its Asian headquarters.

Tact Tracer introduced ‘AI inventory shape recognition technology’ at this vendor briefing. This technology is a technology that determines the inventory loading rate and infers the inventory amount through a three-dimensional scan of the LiDAR sensor newly installed in ‘Spider Go’. Automation of inventory management is expected to become easier thanks to its endless application areas, such as identifying inventory levels by measuring the thickness of fabric or film, or the volume of parts such as screws and nuts.

This vendor briefing was conducted for a vice president of the Gartner research team and a global logistics expert with 43 years of experience. The analyst recognizes SpyderGo’s technological potential and plans to actively arrange for Tact Tracer’s technology dissemination and global pilot application, focusing on large global 3PL companies.

TactTracer was recently selected for ‘K-Global@ China 2022’ hosted by KOTRA and has been matched with Chinese investors and buyers in more than 20 cases, and is in detailed discussions with 7 companies, including the establishment of Chinese corporations and investment proposals.

In addition, the establishment of PoC for ship engine and parts inventory management and public institution asset management was confirmed at the end of this year. We are currently focusing on the development of advanced ‘SpiderGo’ products for field deployment, and plan to introduce this PoC construction case at CES 2023.

Meanwhile, Tact Tracer was selected for the 2020 Startup Leap Package Support Project by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Korea Institute of Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurship Development and is receiving specialized customized support, including commercialization support and mentoring, from the Gyeonggi Creative Economy Innovation Center, the host organization.
