Hancom Intelligence, a consolidated subsidiary of MDS Tech (formerly Hancom MDS), a company specializing in embedded solutions, also changed its name to ‘MDS Intelligence.’
MDS Intelligence (formerly Hancom Intelligence) won the Innovation Award for its remote water meter reading service ‘HY-Check’ at ‘CES 2022’ held in Las Vegas, USA early this year, and acquired ‘Stance’, a digital twin specialist company. Meanwhile, the company also launched a new digital twin platform, ‘RapidTWIN’, which can implement a rapid digital twin by combining the existing ‘NeoIDM’ and STANCE’s digital twin solutions.
Recently, by establishing an embedded software verification center, it is taking the lead in preventing safety issues and material damage to passengers by providing services to professionally verify software defects in systems such as automobiles, national defense, and aviation.
In addition, as connected and autonomous vehicles are gradually becoming a reality due to the development of communication technology and V2X, encryption keys are created to safely protect systems and software in response to attacks infiltrating from outside the vehicle, and a cybersecurity management system for the entire vehicle life cycle is established. We are developing and supplying NeoFSM.
In order to expand new experiences and improve performance from a connected car perspective, the software is designed to be interoperable with OTA (Over The Air, over-the-air update) and cybersecurity stack of AUTOSAR, an open automotive structural standard required by all parts manufacturers. RapidAUTO, the solution implemented, not only secures security and scalability in existing software, but also satisfies various international functional safety standards at the same time, contributing greatly to the globalization of parts companies.
