This investment was led by ‘LB Investment’, and previous round investors ‘Korea Investment Partners’, ‘Crit Ventures’, and ‘POSCO Technology Investment’ also participated.
Aloha Factory is a developer that has consistently developed hyper-casual games. The hyper-casual genre is characterized by the fact that the gameplay is easy and intuitive, so anyone of any age can play it.
In August 2021, the game ‘Kiss In Public’ was released and recorded a cumulative 10 million downloads, and the IDLE arcade genre game ‘Dragon Island’, released in March this year, accumulated 400 million downloads. Achieved 10,000 downloads. Recently, the company has continued to expand genres and release games by releasing ‘Monster House’, a light defense genre.
Hojin Lee, CEO of Aloha Factory, said, “Our vision is to create games that are loved by many people for a long time, and we have been thinking about what content the public likes.” He added, “So far, we have created more than 150 prototypes and developed about 20. “By launching the above mobile casual games, we have advanced the production process and accumulated know-how.”
