G-Motion Co., Ltd. (CEO Han Dong-su), an immersive technology startup, introduced the development of a 3D simulation specialized for fashion and hair at the ‘Naver D2SF Media Meet-up’ held at the Naver D2SF office located in Seocho-gu, Seoul on the 17th.
G-Motion is a global startup that is leading innovation in the digital fashion market, led by 3D simulation engineers from AMD, Crytek, Dassault, Ubisoft, and Kitware. We are conducting research and development to innovate the process of designing, producing, and consuming fashion products through clothing 3D simulation technology focused on real-time.
G-Motion said at this media meetup, “What people focus on taking care of is their hairstyle and fashion. “Our company believes that it is important to accurately implement hairstyles and fashion in 3D in the metaverse era.”
G-Motion’s technology has made up for the fact that the results of the avatar’s movements cannot be predicted, as hair has the disadvantage of each object getting tangled and bumping into each other. Accordingly, we developed a technology that reproduces hair movement according to the avatar’s various actions.

Additionally, details were taken into account regarding the costumes. The material, wrinkles, shape, and degree of fluttering in the wind of the clothing were implemented in detail according to the avatar’s movements. An official explains that since clothes are worn every day, people need to be sensitive to their texture and movement and express them more delicately.
G-Motion’s technology is currently being applied to movies, as well as a virtual runway in the metaverse and a virtual sampling step to prevent fiber waste when making costumes.
G-Motion Chief Business Officer (CBO) In Yeon-soo said, “Online has developed into a form of information delivery that delivers photo and video content, and is now changing into a form of interaction experience that people want.” He added, “We are keeping pace with the times and creating a virtual world. “We will add more detail to the hair and clothing textures.”
Meanwhile, Naver D2SF held the ‘Naver D2SF Media Meetup’ for the second time this year, where technology startups invested by D2SF directly presented their technological capabilities and showed demos. At the media meetup on this day, Gaudio Lab and GEMotion, immersive technology startups that recently invested following Gaji Lab and Predictive, introduced their future business growth plans and synergy results with Naver.
