    Kakao Enterprise and Kangbuk Samsung Hospital of Sungkyunkwan University Medical School are jointly developing the healthcare industry’s first health checkup guidebot (hereinafter referred to as health checkup guidebot) based on ‘Kakao i Connect Talk’, an artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot service. .

    Through the health checkup guide bot, the two companies will help Kangbuk Samsung Hospital’s 500,000 customers use health checkup services more easily and conveniently each year.

    Users can receive information about the laboratory through KakaoTalk when registering for the examination on the day of the examination without downloading a separate app. Users can also receive answers through a chatbot by leaving inquiries on the KakaoTalk channel during the examination. For example, if you enter ‘how many tests are left’, the chatbot will tell you the remaining test items, and if you enter ‘tell me the waiting number’, you can check the waiting number. It is expected that user convenience will be further increased as users can simply check information on KakaoTalk without having to find a person in charge at the hospital.

    Kakao i Connect Talk, introduced in Gangbuk Samsung Hospital’s medical examination guidebot, is an intelligent AI chatbot service that provides notifications, promotions, and consultation through a single KakaoTalk channel. Based on advanced machine learning technology and learning data from portals and search services accumulated over many years, it has the industry’s best Korean language recognition performance, identifying customer questions without problems with typos or incorrect spacing and providing natural answers.

    The two companies plan to work together to discover a business model to create a customer-centered future hospital by making the entire health examination process more efficient through the health examination guide bot and by converging customer communication channels and expanding the AI-based call center system.
