Wemade announced that it has made a strategic seed investment in MVM (Metaverse Magna), an African P2E guild project.

MVM’s parent company, Nestcoin, invests in and supports crypto projects in Africa. It was founded by Yele Bademosi, a former African executive at Binance Labs, which handles early-stage corporate investment and incubation at Binance.

In addition, MVM is Africa’s first and largest gaming decentralized autonomous organization (DAOdecentralized autonomous organization), which provides overall P2E games from incubation to launchpad support, token/NFT public sale, and game operation for various P2E games fostered or invested by Nestcoin. Direct support throughout the life cycle.

MVM is helping African gamers play games through the community and its self-developed app Hyper. In the future, we plan to expand our business to include providing guild management tools through the development of our own OS, providing P2E game software design kits to game developers, and gaming DeFi services.

Through this strategic investment, Wemade plans to expand the ecosystem of Wemix 3.0 and expand its business in Africa in the mid to long term.

The number of game users in Africa is more than 186 million, and MVM aims to create the largest gaming community in Africa and provide tools to users, investors, developers, and guild operators within the ecosystem.

Nestcoin CEO Yele Bademosi emphasized that the local gaming industry has great potential, saying, “Africa is the region with the largest youth population in the world.”

Wemade CEO Jang Hyeon-guk said, “Game guilds will grow into the main stream of DAO and will play an important role in game tokenomics,” adding, “Collaboration with MVM will help the Wemix ecosystem in Africa, a rapidly growing young region. “It will be an opportunity for expansion,” he said.
