    Kakao and Kakao Healthcare announced that they are introducing a ‘breathing exercise service’ to help people overcome Long Covid. The two companies decided to actively cooperate to improve public health.

    Long Covid means that symptoms of unknown cause, such as cough, phlegm, short breath, chronic fatigue, and difficulty concentrating, appear for 4 weeks, up to 12 weeks or more, after COVID-19 infection. According to the ‘Addressing the Long-Term Effects of COVID-19’ published by the U.S. Department of Human Services on August 3, 1 in 4 Americans is experiencing long COVID-19. The results of a domestic survey conducted by the National Institute of Health also showed that 20-79% of COVID-19 patients showed Long Covid symptoms.
